33-year-old Paulo Costa is all set to feature in his second fight of 2024. The Brazilian previously featured at UFC 298 against Robert Whittaker. Although he lost the fight, his impressive performance has now earned him an opportunity to feature at UFC 302 next. ‘Borrachinha’ will take on former middleweight champion Sean Strickland for what promises to be an exciting clash.

Just like most Brazilian fighters, Paulo Costa also comes from a very humble background. Hailing from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Costa was always fascinated by fighting. Talking about his educational degrees, not much is known about his degrees and qualifications. The Brazilian once shared how he worked as a realtor before making it big in the UFC. He is a huge believer in Jesus Christ and is one of the hard-working fighters in the division. Sean Strickland advised to get married by Costa

UFC 302 is just a few hours away and the trash talk between fighters has already begun. During a recent pre-fight press conference, Paulo Costa and Sean Strickland also engaged in a bit of a verbal spat. What started as a trash talk later ended with the Brazilian advising Strickland to get married. The 33-year-old not only surprised the fans but also ‘Tarzan’ himself. ‘Borrachinha’ said, “Bro, this guy is wearing this white shirt for the whole week. You, you need a wife, you know. I don’t know if you, you are married already or not, but maybe a girlfriend gonna, gonna help you a lot.” 

Strickland, much to the surprise of most, agreed to the advice given by his rival. However, he did take out time to give a warning to Costa. The former champion said, “Let me tell you, Costa. One of the greatest accomplishments a man could do is get married and have a family. Sadly, I’m not there yet, dude, but maybe one day, man. Maybe one day. But I’ll tell you what Costa, I can’t f***ing wait to f***ing make that face a little ugly, dude. I can’t f***ing wait.”
