Conor McGregor knows the secret to getting flashed in the headlines, and he has done it again. After his fight against Michael Chandler got canceled due to an injury, the Irish mixed martial artist received quite a bit of pressure from the fighting community. Finally, he revealed that it was all because of a fractured toe. It was indeed the first tangible proof of the fighter’s injury that the fans received following the cancelation of his comeback bout. Needless to say, the ‘Mystic Mac’ had quite some expensive plans after he made his comeback at UFC 303. But alas! Things don’t always turn out the way people expect. But did you know that McGregor was planning to buy a Bugatti?

Not too long ago, the Dubliner sent forth a lengthy post on Instagram about the cancellation of his fight with ‘Iron’. Being the extravagant spender that he is, McGregor expressed that he wished to get himself a new Bugatti with the fight money. He was indeed ready given the fact that the PPV gates rose much higher than $20 million. A disappointed McGregor wrote, “It is absolutely gut-wrenching to take. I want that new Buggati how I gone justify to myself getting that now without banking these fights?”

However, the fighter couldn’t stay away from his desires for long. In a more recent post on IG, McGregor shared three pictures of himself enjoying his time on his Lamborghini superyacht’s deck beside the love of his life, Dee Devlin. But he couldn’t resist himself from making plans for the new car. He wanted a Bugatti by the 14th of July. You guessed it! That’s what the fighter wants for his birthday. In the captions, ‘The Notorious’ wrote, “AH F*** IT IM GETTING MYSELF THAT BUGATTI NOW ITS MY BIRTHDAY IN A FEW WEEKS 🛥️❤️”

Needless to say, the fight fans swooped into the comments section and revealed their thoughts about McGregor’s wish, as soon as the post hit the social media platform. MMA world reacts as Conor McGregor plans to get a Bugatti for his birthday

It seems like Devlin is together with McGregor in his plan to get a new addition to his garage. She took to the comments section and wrote, “What daddy wants daddy gets”, followed by a red heart emoji. But Devlin wasn’t the only big name in the comments section.

Dillon Danis, the fighter signed to Bellator FC, asked McGregor if he could catch a ride with him. “Can I catch a ride,” he commented. McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, claimed that the ‘Mystic Mac’ stole his idea for the fighter’s birthday. “Well that’s my idea for your birthday gone ,” wrote the coach. 

Demetrious Johnson also appeared in the comments, but his words were not aimed at the fighter’s wish for a new supercar. Instead, he wrote, “You think this man is worried about fighting.” Muay Thai fighter and actor, Jackie Cheng, sent forth just three laughing emojis. Even the famed blogger, Rob Lipsett, seemed to believe that the Irish mixed martial artist “Deserved” the new car. 

However, the fans were disappointed with it all. One of the fans claimed that he wasted his money on UFC 303. “Maybe try and fight I’m glad I didn’t waste money for 303 I’d be pissed just retire you wash up,” the fan wrote. Another fan hilariously commented that McGregor was simply celebrating after ruining Chandler’s career. “Celebrating after ruining chandlers career,” the comment read. One other fan wrote, “Chandler would of taken you for a ride on a Bugatti.”
