Joe Rogan, during a talk with Greg Fitzsimmons in JRE episode #1876, found out about ‘Peaky Blinders’. One of the few breathtaking shows that has blessed Netflix with its presence.
When Fitzsimmons asked if Rogan had watched ‘Peaky Blinders’, he let out a gasp and revealed what the JRE host was missing out on. Talking about Murphy’s character, he said that it was “one of the most badass protagonists in any drama you’ve ever seen in your life .” Pulling the audience into the gypsy world a bit, Fitzsimmons revealed that it was a show that stood tall beside series like HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The Sopranos’. This was probably the reason the series attracted Rogan.

The show follows a character named Thomas Shelby, played by the brilliant actor, Cillian Murphy, and the exploits of a crime gang named Peaky Blinders. The timeline is set directly after the First World War and focuses on the gang’s activities in Birmingham. The show began airing back in 2013 and was an immediate hit. Continuing for 6 seasons, ‘Peaky Blinders’ has attracted quite a bit of attention to itself. Needless to say, the beloved UFC color commentator binged through the series. After all, it had quite an addictive story.
Now, as the storyline hit its end, Rogan was left flabbergasted. The JRE host took to Instagram, shared a poster of the Netflix series, and wrote how impressed he was with the show. In the caption, Rogan quoted, “I just finished binge watching the 6 seasons of Peaky Blinders on @netflix. What a f-king show. I can’t recommend it enough.” This indeed led the fans to think Murphy was an upcoming guest on Rogan’s podcast. It would be quite an interesting show, don’t you agree?

Cillian Murphy’s Peaky Blinders greatly impressed Joe Rogan
Talking to Jack Carr on episode #2165 of the Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator revealed that he had just begun watching the show and it was an amazing experience for him. He said, “I just started watching Peaky Blinders. F**king great! It’s f**king great! I burned through The Gentlemen, which is Guy Ritchie’s new show on Netflix, which is amazing. It’s f**ing great! Prime Guy Ritchie. It’s great.”

Within a month, he completed 4 seasons of ‘Peaky Blinders’ and the excitement was still pretty high. On the episode of JRE Fight Companion that went live on the 22nd of June, Rogan expressed his thoughts about Murphy. He said, “Peaky Blinders is great, dude. I’m on season 4 now. It’s good dude, it’s f***ing good. Cillian Murphy, that guy is a beast.” It’s not just ‘Peaky Blinders’ that impressed Rogan. He was also in awe of Murphy’s performance in ‘Oppenheimer’.
Cillian Murphy stunned the world with his performance as Dr. Jonathan Crane (Scarecrow) in ‘The Dark Knight trilogy’.
