In the recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, fellow stand-up comedian and Libertarian political commentator, Dave Smith, expressed his goodwill for ‘The Comedy Mothership’. However, the UFC color commentator showed his humble side to the world. He gave credit to the architect and designer of the club for doing an amazing job.

Rogan’s comedy club has indeed witnessed immense success. Dave Smith, on episode #1977 of the JRE, revealed his feelings about the club. He let Rogan know that along with the whole wide world, he too felt that the club was amazing. However, Rogan seemed to think differently when Smith said that he did a good job.
Rogan remained humble and gave credit to everyone who worked hard to make sure the club was successful. The podcaster emphasized on the role of Richard Weiss for designing the beautiful interior. He said, “It’s pretty dope. Well, it wasn’t me. I mean, it was, sort of, but it was a lot of people. And a lot of it, Richard Weiss, the architect and designer. He’s the f**king man. He did an incredible job.”
Surprisingly, the commentator also believed that he would have been able to appreciate the mothership better if he wasn’t the owner of the club. The legendary commentator said, “The whole thing is just very bizarre, you know. If it wasn’t mine, I’d really be able to appreciate it.”
The intent behind the comedy club
Previously, Rogan revealed the real intention behind opening the comedy club. Surprisingly, it was to give the budding talent a stage and a mic, with the audience willing to listen to them. He said that he wanted to do something that was designed to foster new talent.

The comedian further disclosed that the team organizes two open mic nights. Furthermore, another motive for the comedy club was to get every comedian paid. Undeniably, Rogan and his team at ‘The Comedy Mothership’ have done really incredible work and the internet overflowing with praises is the evidence for it.
