From putting up exciting fights for the fans to doing successful events even during the pandemic, White has done it all to take UFC to great heights. However, one of the biggest things that have been giving a hard time to the UFC kingpin in his journey is digital privacy.
According to the reports, online piracy in the US costs the entertainment industry roughly around $30 billion annually. Meanwhile, UFC suffers a $30 million loss annually, as 15,000 to 20,000 people watch the fight without paying for the pay-per-view.
During a conversation with famous internet celebrity Logan Paul on his podcast, Impaulsive, White revealed his struggles with piracy. He said, “We have taken a hard stance against piracy and we have spent millions of dollars a year battling it.”
