The UFC community is eagerly waiting for the comeback of the promotion’s superstar, Conor McGregor. At the moment, there is some clarity regarding the return of ‘The Notorious’ to the octagon. McGregor himself has announced that he is all set to coach against Michael Chandler for TUF 31. This indicates that there are still months left for the Irishman to hit back to the octagon, that is, after the season gets over. However, even though he stood away from the octagon for a long period, the UFC superstar never failed to make headlines.

For one reason or another, the Irishman always stayed in the limelight. Recently, McGregor caught the attention of fans for his terribly failed attempt to hide the logo of Adidas.

The Notorious took to his Twitter handle to post pictures of him during his boxing training sessions. From the pictures, it is quite clear that the Notorious is taking heavy training in boxing. When McGregor previously uploaded the pictures of him inside the ring, the netizens wondered if the Irishman was returning to boxing as well. Nonetheless, this time, his recent boxing training session pictures caught people’s attention for a very different reason. In the portrait pictures of Mystic Mac, he is seen wearing a boxing head guard from the $29 billion-worth brand, Adidas. The two-divisional champion hid the brand name, which was written on the head guard.

The Notorious, however, didn’t hide the logo when he uploaded his boxing training pictures a few days ago. At the moment, maybe he restricted himself from not providing unpaid advertising to the brand. However, it’s hard for celebrities to escape the eagle eyes of the public.

After observing the name of the brand slightly visible through the cellophane tape, a fan reacted:

One of the fans joked about how McGregor has some hidden agenda behind hiding the logo.

Another fan, instead of focusing on the hidden logo, advised McGregor to find a better team to improve his fighting career.

One of the Twitter users pointed out how similar to the Irishman, Dustin Poirier too was forced to hide the logo of a popular brand.

Another Twitter user made sure that he came up with a comment related to McGregor and Hasbulla.

One of the fans appreciated the Irishman for his hard work and determination.

A fan bluntly stated that McGregor would never be a champion again.

This is nothing but a common practice that sometimes celebrities are forced to do so that they don’t provide free publicity to the brand. Conor McGregor has 9.8 million followers on Twitter and 45.9 million followers on Instagram. Therefore, when McGregor is seen using a product of any brand, the value of the brand goes up. Furthermore, Adidas, a German sportswear manufacturer, will be able to earn more credibility through the UFC superstar.
