The clip kicks off in the middle of a Fusion Fighting Championship 64 bout. It shows Miguelito “El Chévere” Grijalva warming up for his FFC 64 headliner bout against Martin “El Frio” Mollinedo. 

Within seconds of his warmup, “El Chévere” starts circling the octagon before abruptly leaping mid-air and trying to stomp his landing – which eventually leads to a serious knee injury. 

 

The pain becomes so excruciating that the Ecuadorian lies flat on the canvas, covering his agony. It is clear that he has “blown” his right knee as he holds onto it while crying. The medical team rushes in, and within minutes, it is announced that the fight is canceled – all because of a showboating stunt that leads to a grave injury.

The bizarre incident stunned everyone, including the commentators, who couldn’t help but laugh. However, the most amusing reactions came from fans and MMA followers, who poured in with reactions and comments to the video. From calling it a victory for the octagon to humorous remarks about the fighter’s performance, the comments poured in with amusement.
