Conor McGregor and pub brawls go way back. The Irishman can’t seem to catch a breather amidst a disappointing TUF season and his USADA troubles. He has once again seized headlines for not the best of reasons. Recently, ‘The Notorious’ made a trip back home to support his family members as they grieve an emotional tragedy. The McGregor family is mourning the death of Pamela McGregor, the former UFC champion’s aunt. However, trouble chased him down even in this difficult time.
The 34-year-old, after attending the family funeral, visited a Liverpool pub. The concerning visuals soon emerged as he hastily exited The Saddle Club in Birkenhead. Further, the fans can witness his security team escorting him as nearby people were also reportedly told to vacate the area. Initially, speculations pointed toward another riot involving the Irish fighter. A theory suggested his past love life became the bone of contention. Now a new clip has emerged that gives a glimpse of what went down inside the pub.

The visuals, shared by MMA Mania, reveal the intensity of the fight. In the clip, the fans can notice the group of people shoving and punching each other. It was a full-blown skirmish. But, the fans fail to catch the Dubliner.
Furthermore, it is not sure whether McGregor was present during the fight, or if he caused it. He, however, dropped a troubling voice note the next morning that had the marking of ominous signs.

In the voice note on Twitter, the ‘Mystic Mac’ is heard in an imitating scouse accent, “Murder, murder, everybody out, Scousers on the golly.” The fans also hear his voice as he declared, “Birkenhead is McGregor’s, yeah.” But the tweet remains unavailable as he fell back to his tweet-and-delete shenanigans.
The Merseyside Police controlled the situation after the reports of an altercation reached it. While the authorities conducted the investigation, they made no complaints or arrests. As the fans await the updates, pub skirmishes are not unheard of for the MMA fighter.
Has McGregor been involved in a pub fight before?
In 2019, McGregor made a surprise appearance at a pub in his hometown, Dublin. In an ecstatic mood, he offered free shots of his popular Proper Number 12 whiskey.

While every man obliged and chugged, one person persistently declined and after a back-and-forth, McGregor threw a punch in a fit of rage. That punch cost him $1000.
Currently, the former double champ is training to make his comeback against Michael Chandler in a yet-to-be-decided bout.
