His brother’s name is Valter, and although both are not siblings but half-brothers, their camaraderie is unique. At UFC 305, Valter is on the roster and it is going to be pretty exciting for the fans to see how Johnny’s brother fares in his fight. While fans of the fighter are anticipating how his performance will turn out, a throwback video of the Walker brothers inside the octagon has resurfaced.
Johnny Walker is quite hilarious and unique when it comes to off-cage antiques. He often posts funny memes on social media and the 32-year-old has also a fun-loving personality which makes the MMA fans love him more. But during the MMA event in Egypt, his brother took the limelight from him. Their funny brotherly bonding was shown in an Instagram video by the fighter.
After winning his bout, Ignacio’s hands were raised by both the referee and Johnny Walker. However, while fans expected a crushing hug, Valter chose to take his brother down onto the mat and start a fight. It was clear that they were just fooling around, but the fans were pretty confused in the arena because it looked like they were fighting in reality and eventually both were separated by the referee and teammates.

Both were smiling in the video and Johnny posted the video on his official Instagram handle with the caption, “Family problems with @valter_ignacio_mma at @mma_series in Egypt, this little boy think he can take me 😂 #mma #ufc #family #monsters #champ #mmaseries.” The MMA veterans also reacted to this viral clip as Conor McGregor’s coach reacted to it and wrote, “Guillotine”.

The half-brothers have a unique bond and also an interesting history. They might have a good camaraderie, but sometimes the brothers do have bad blood. In the past, his half-brother had called out Johnny Walker and asked him to come to Egypt and fight. Maybe this is how they show tough love.

He recently signed with the UFC and during his rise to the regional ranks, Valter Walker fought by the name of Valter Ignacio. He is a heavyweight fighter and has an impressive record of 11-1-0. During his last fight outside the UFC in June 2023, he achieved the Titan FC Heavyweight Championship by defeating Alex Nicholson.
He is set to fight Junior Tafa after losing against UFC heavyweight Łukasz Brzeski At UFC Fight Night Allen vs Curtis. Tafa is looking for his second win at the UFC after being defeated by Marcos Rogério de Lima at UFC 298. Junior Tafa had spoken about fighting both the Walker Brothers during his media day interview.

He said, “Yeah, preparation is good, watched a little bit of tape, but yeah, I’d like to fight both of the Walker brothers if I could. I want to campaign down to light heavyweight and his brother would like to come after too.”
Tafa also clarified that he does not have any personal enmity with the family or the fighters, but he wants to fight with both of them because he’s a huge fan.
