The tension of a UFC fight week is something hard to understand for non-UFC athletes. And when it’s a five-round bout, the anxiety level only goes up. The promotion, however, tries its best to keep the fighters in a light space during the stressful week. They did the same for UFC 275 fighters.

Ahead of a stacked UFC 275, the promotion gave some fighters (Glover Teixeira, Jiri Prochazka, Valentina Shevchenko), from the two championship bouts involved on the card, a task to spell women’s strawweight GOAT, Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s last name. Even the Polish athlete herself took part in it.

When the fighters get to know the task description, they had all kinds of reactions.
The flyweight queen, Shevchenko said, “I knew it, I knew it,” and burst into laughter. The Czech fighter, Prochazka, appeared a little confused by the task and wondered, “It’s like something for fun or…”

None of the fighters taking part got the last name right. A few of them even miss-spelled the first name of ‘The Boogeywoman‘. Jedrzejczyk spelled her name as ‘The Queen’.
A former opponent of Jedrzejczyk across multiple sports dating back decades, Valentina Shevchenko was one fighter who missed an ‘n’ in ‘Joanna’. Thus, she apologized to the ATT athlete and said, “Sorry, Joanna… I know how to pronounce ‘Joanna Jedrzejczyk’.”
All these fighters successfully made weight and are ready to put on a spectacle in the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
