Ferguson has a usual way of posting his tweets on Twitter. He frequently calls out Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor on Twitter, he mocks them by celebrating ‘McNugget Monday’ and ‘Tiramisu Tuesday’.

Continuing the trend, Ferguson aimed shots at McGregor and tweeted. ” “McNugget🥇Monday” Makin’ Mincemeat Out Of McNuggets One Day At A Time 💯 All The Sauce-Champ 🕶 -CSO- 🇺🇸🏆🇲🇽 # 🥇”

Though the fans typically have a tough time decoding his tweets, they love him anyway.

The former interim champion has a long history with ‘The Notorious‘. In the past, when McGregor became the UFC LW champion, ‘El Cucuy‘ was beating the contenders in the division.

However, McGregor never defended his title, and these two never fought each other.

UFC is hoping to book Tony Ferguson vs Michael Chandler

The Ultimate Fighter 13 winner is currently on a three-fight losing skid. ‘El Cucuy’ is looking to make a comeback and get back to winning ways.

Recently, UFC President Dana White has revealed that the UFC is working on a bout between Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler. Though he clarified, nothing has been signed.

Michael Chandler is also coming off of two losses. Thus, both the fighters will look to stay in the title contention and advance in rankings by winning this fight.

Stylistically, the fight is very interesting. ‘El Cucuy’ uses high volume and relies on his cardio to tire out his opponents. He uses the elbows and clinch really well and has one of the best D’arce chokes in the UFC. Whereas Chandler is an explosive fighter with a wrestling pedigree. ‘The Iron’ rarely likes to go to later rounds and always tries to finish the fight.

Ferguson, in his last two fights, had issues with the grappling. Though his opponents, Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush, could not make him submit, they dominated Ferguson for the entire fight.

However, Chandler likes to exchange punches in the middle of the octagon. Both fighters usually put on the best performances for their fans and the fans will expect fireworks from the fight.
