In a recent interview, ‘Suga’ had said he was manifesting a fight against Conor McGregor this year. Now a video has surfaced that shows a hilarious Sean O’Malley trying to land some McG-style shoulder shots on a hanging dummy. The video has gathered 26k in a short time span.

Conor McGregor used the famous shoulder against Donald Cerrone. ‘Mystic Mac’ won the fight with a first-round knock-out. While Sean O’Malley imitating other fighters is not new, his short funny is definitely the most hilarious imitation yet.
Sean O’Malley wants to learn McGregor’s Magic
‘Sugar’ training his shoulders like McGregor indicates his love for McG. The attempts may have failed miserably, but the intent needs to be appreciated. In an earlier interview, Sean O’Malley had said he was manifesting a fight against Mystic mac in 2023. He also mentioned how he thought that was no other fighter in the UFC like McG. ‘Suga’ said he saw himself as the one who could fill McGregor‘s shoes. The shoulder training may have been an attempt at that.
There are a few points where fans would agree that O’Malley and McGregor are similar. For starters, both fighters share a love for tattoos. Both fighters don’t hold back their words and also fight with the same striking intent.

Back in 2020, ‘Suga’ had posted a video on his Instagram that showed him imitating Tony Ferguson‘s training methods. The video included dramatized walking, and absurd moves and could definitely be called funny. The video garnered reactions from the likes of Chael Sonnen.
While ‘Suga sean’ definitely has a funny bone in his body. He needs to be very careful about keeping his focus on the real job. The good streak of results will give him a lot of confidence, going into 2023. He, however, needs to realize that Petr Yan had almost pipped him. The smallest of the margins decided that fight, which is unlike Sean O’Malley.
