UFC’s Welterweight title challenger Jorge Masvidal took to Twitter recently to post a stunning promo of his upcoming fight against Kamaru Usman.
‘Gamebred’ looks to become the new champion of the 170 lbs division and reach the UFC gold for the first time in his career. The fight will be a rematch as they have previously competed at UFC 251 with Usman earning a decision.
Masvidal stepped up on less than a week’s notice on that occasion. Many believe the ATT trainee has what it takes to dethrone the champion with a full camp. In his promo video, Masvidal focused on his preparation at the famous American Top Team gym in Florida.

The April 24 card is set to take place in Jacksonville, Florida. The pay-per-view has had record-breaking responses on the presale.
Better things are expected by the UFC as there will be a crowd in the building for the first time in a UFC event in the States since the lockdown started nationwide last year as a response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The UFC has stacked the card with two more title fights. Valentina Shevchenko defends her flyweight title against Jessica Andrade. And Chinese sensation Weili Zhang will put her strawweight title on the line against Rose Namajunas.
What’s more, with Miami native’s presence on the card, the promotion will look to build on that as ‘Gamebred’ is currently one of the biggest stars in the UFC.

Masvidal, on the other hand, will have a point to prove. He will look to show the world that with a full camp he has the tools to dethrone Usman.
