Jorge Masvidal is currently preparing to take on Colby Covington at UFC 272. It is going to be a battle for the ages. Both men are former best friends and roommates. They used to train at American Top Team and have even been at each other’s corners during fights. However, both men can’t even look at each other anymore.
Their friendship turned sour, and they both men blame each other for it. Whatever may be the reason, the bond that they shared is definitely not there anymore. They will have the opportunity to settle the score at UFC 272. Before the fight, ‘Gamebred‘ dropped an interesting teaser on his Twitter handle. In the teaser, it said that he will expose his former friend. It read, “The story of Judas Covington. Tomorrow he will be exposed.”

It will be interesting to see what Masvidal comes up with. He did a similar thing to Kamaru Usman in 2020. He released a video titled, ‘The Multiple Personalities of Kamaru Usman.’ He, later on, fought the welterweight champion twice.

Both fighters will be high on tension going into the fight. However, a win in this match should also make them the front runners to face ‘The Nigerian Nightmare‘ again. They both have fought him twice and come out on the losing side, and would want another shot at him.

According to him, all his fights are business, but this one is close to being personal. In an interview, he said, “This individual lived on my couch for a year. While he had his hand broken. He was living off my couch, was eating the food that they were giving me because I was already a sponsored athlete. He was an amateur coming into the world.”
“So it puts a lot of things in perspective. You come into this world alone and you f**king probably go out alone as well, you know. This guy’s a legit snake.”
