The stand-up comedian does great research on the fighters facing each other before match day. He comes prepared for his job as a UFC color commentator and provides immense value. Having vast knowledge of the subject of combat sports, Rogan dismissed Molly McCann’s odds before her fight against Erin Blanchfield at UFC 281.

The former Fear factor host did not think McCann would come out of the fight as a winner.

Joe Rogan was not in favor of Molly McCann

Joe Rogan sent his face in all directions when he found out Dave Portnoy favored Molly McCann over Erin Blanchfield. The podcast host was disappointed in the 45-year-old, who is the founder of Barstool Sports “I talked to Dave Portnoy, he bet 10 grand on Molly McCann” “I was like (weird facial expression)”. He expressed this in episode #1900 of JRE on Spotify.

The English MMA fighter is associated with the sports brand and signed a six-figure contract with Barstool Sports. McCann’s best buddy, Paddy Pimblett, is also part of the Barstool organization.

When Portnoy confronted Rogan and asked what he thought of his bet, he put up a killer facial expression that was a mixture of horror and disappointment. The JRE host said “I’m like ‘listen, Molly’s tough. Anything can happen. But Erin Blanchfield is a f*cking assassin.

Rogan was not ready to back anyone against Blanchfield that night. He said, “That girl’s a straight-up killer.” about the flyweight division fighter.

The JRE host thinks Molly McCann exploded because of Paddy Pimblett

Joe Rogan agreed with his guest, Stephen Gilchrist Glover a.k.a Steve-O, who said Molly McCann exploded into the mainstream due to her friendship with Paddy Pimblett.

The host said it was natural, but defended Molly McCann for the qualities she possessed. “But, you know, also she had some spectacular performances, and she’s a wild character. She gets f*cking fired up and jumps around…” and points out how people loved watching characters like herself and ‘Paddy The Baddy’.
