Joe Rogan and his infatuation with smelling salts have been providing his community with many laughing moments. For those who are unaware of smelling salts, these are ammonia-based compounds used by powerlifters, bodybuilders, and other professionals to provide a good shock to their nervous system before attempting some hefty lifting. Well, Rogan uses these salts for something else and that is to shock his guests and catch their viral reactions upon his camera, and this time it is neuroscientist and tenured professor at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, Andrew Huberman who got the taste of it.
In his latest escapade on ‘Joe Rogan Experience #2195,’ the multi-million dollar podcaster invited Andrew Huberman to have a conversation about his experience but amid the discussion, Rogan urged the professor to try the smelling salts and his initial reaction is a must-watch.

The multi-million dollar podcaster first tried the smelling salts when he was having a conversation with fellow podcaster Theo Von back in ‘JRE #1731’. The duo was a bit hesitant when they took the bottle and sniffed the ammonia-based salts. Both of the comedians were stunned as they were taken aback by the strong pungent ness of the stimulant. It was so strong that Rogan almost jumped out of his seat and since then he has been a fan of the supplement.
Well, now it was time for Andrew Huberman to take the taste of the smelling salts. At the ‘JRE #2195’, Rogan opened a packet of Jujimufu’s smelling salt and gave the professor a sniff, and as he took a whiff of the supplement, Huberman almost jumped out of his chair as this was the first time he tried it. “When you go to a park and you go into a public bathroom at a park that has a pool,” said Huberman with his eyes closed.
Moments after that, Joe Rogan took a sniff of the same salt and he goes, “Oh oh the fresh ones are so powerful I feel it.” Huberman added that he could feel the sniff through his eye because of the sinus. Regardless, the professor was enthralled to try it for the first time and stated that he liked it.

In one of his conversations, Rogan praised the bodybuilder. He said, “He’s a super jacked, powerlifter guy who does all these acrobatic things, amazing specimen, but this is his company. (talking about smelling salts) Look, Jujimufu, full split while he is pressing a weight above his head. It’s 100 kilos so that’s like 220 pounds over his head while he is doing a full-split. Look at that flexibility that’s insane. With that muscle mass!”
Joe Rogan’s escapades with the smelling salt will carry more of his guests, who will be victims of his prank. Regardless, what’s your take on smelling salts? State your thoughts in the comments below.
