Home/UFC

There is no denying the fact that most of the UFC fans watch the events on TV from the comfort of their home. But there is something so special about attending a live event: watching the fight directly in front of your eyes and joining the roar of the crowd. The experience just can’t be replicated at home!

But it’s not practical for everyone to attend the live event. After all, how can somebody squeeze in millions into a single stadium? Not even the prestigious Madison Square Garden could handle that. But what if somehow fans could get the best of both worlds? It seems like the UFC has been planning something like that all the way.

This weekend, the UFC is also set to make its comeback to Salt Lake City, Utah, with its UFC 291 event. In the past, the city has been a host to many previous PPVs for the MMA promotions. But what makes this occasion unique is the showcase of UFC’s new broadcast technology.

For those unaware, the event will take place at the Delta Center. But fans can also enjoy the fights live from the Cosm Experience Centre through a 65-foot 8K LED dome. Considering how jam-packed the arenas could be, this is definitely a welcome action. While it wouldn’t be a perfect replacement for a stadium visit, this is as close as it gets. Recently, the fans got a glimpse of this upcoming incentive through social media.

In just a year, this is the second time that UFC is hosting a PPV in Salt Lake City. This accomplishment is rare for any place other than Vegas. According to UFC officials, it is due to the ‘economic transformation’ the city is undergoing. And now with the debut of this new broadcasting technology here, it looks like the promotion has some serious plans for Utah’s capital.
