Israel Adesanya might have just reignited his feud with Jon Jones. In the past, these two fighters have expressed interest in fighting each other. Though the fight never occurred, the fans still desire to see this matchup. Also, the two never really ceased going after each other.
Speaking to TMZ, ‘The Last Stylebender’ took a subtle jab at Jones for his recent Police Body Cam video.

“I’m glad I can be invited to TMZ. I’m not here getting looked up for the wrong reasons and being put on TMZ. … and some crazy video of me, I don’t know, banging my head on a cop car or something crazy like that, you know, I’m glad that’s not me. But hey, knock on wood.”
The interviewer said, “Now I gotta ask you about him.”
But Adesanya had a laugh about it and said, “What, what are you talking about? Hey, follow the script, follow the script.”
Later, ‘The Last Stylebender‘ explained how their beef originated and clarified he didn’t start the beef with Jon Jones.
Earlier, the two had a great build to their super fight. This bout would have been gigantic for the UFC and their fans.

However, presently, this dream match has many hurdles. Firstly, the middleweight champion’s move up to the light heavyweight division didn’t go as planned; Adesanya lost to then-light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz. Thus, sending him down to middleweight. Secondly, one of the greatest UFC fighters to ever step inside the UFC’s octagon, ‘Bones‘ has decided to move up to heavyweight.
Israel Adesanya vs Jon Jones had a good build
Jon Jones was the UFC’s light heavyweight champion; Israel Adesanya was the UFC’s middleweight champion. The two fighters were dominating their respective division. Thus, the fans hoped for a super-fight between these two UFC champions.
‘The Last Stylebender’ had set the stage for this dream matchup.

However, Jones decided to move to the heavyweight division. Thus, he relinquished his UFC light heavyweight championship. Since then, Jones has teased a move to the heavyweight division. Although, he is yet to fight in the division.
