The buzz from the Conor McGregor TUF announcement is still going strong. UFC president Dana White, in a recent announcement, confirmed the return of “The Notorious” Conor McGregor for the next season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” His rival coach and opponent for a UFC bout thereafter would be the former Bellator champion Michael Chandler.
Since the announcement, fans have discussed McGregor’s return to the show. They have compared his personality from his featherweight days to the current one. While many are debating the outcome of a fight between McGregor and Michael Chandler, others are discussing how effective he will be as a coach.
On season 22 of TUF, McGregor coached opposite Urijah Faber. One of the most memorable seasons of TUF, it delivered a lot of entertaining moments featuring McGregor and his hilarious back-and-forth with Faber.

However, Team McGregor could not pull off the win as Ryan Hall beat Artem Lobov to secure the TUF finals for Team Faber.

In a clip shared on Twitter, we see Conor McGregor coaching his TUF team. The caption to the post read “Conor was such a great coach on his season on TUF.” In the clip, the Irishman asked his team to do some light sparring without the protective gear. He wanted them to get a feeling of actual fighting without damaging each other.
At the end of the session, he quoted his coach John Kavanagh to describe this type of training as “upgrading the software without damaging the hardware.”
This throwback to TUF 22 garnered some mixed reactions from the fans.
