Round after round and fight after fight, the UFC star has ensured to put out his foot forward and walk away with a win. The unbeaten mixed martial artist has barely ever lost a round in his career and retired not only on top, but without suffering any damage.

His flawless resume, and complete domination, easily pit him as one of the very best fighters in the world. Naturally, many up-and-comers have also turned to the Dagestani native to learn the ropes of wrestling and being a successful mixed martial artist. Following his retirement, the former UFC star has taken to coaching.

In a recent reel shared on Instagram, Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s grueling coaching session unfurls a side of him that fans have never seen. Former UFC champion is seen demanding his teammates to push through fatigue. If they fail, they can only do a few things aside from the training routine. Nurmagomedov said, “Someone tired, he can go home.” Right after a fellow coach quizzed Nurmagomedov about what other things trainees can do apart from training, he added, “Cry too, if someone tired he can cry.”

Apart from training and mentoring the next crop of fighters, Nurmagomedov spends time building his own promotion. With his fighting days behind him, the mixed martial artist has taken up various business ventures that involve his own MMA organization.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a promoter now

The retired UFC Champion opted to create his own promotion that goes by the name of Eagle FC. So far, the young promotion has only hosted a few events in 2022 and continues to put together major fight cards. With 4 major events in the history books, Nurmagomedov has picked up many marquee names in Junior Dos Santos, Kevin Lee, Diageo Sanchez, Rashad Evans, and Ray Borg.

Surely, the previous events won’t serve as the only fight cards that Nurmagomedov will put together. The UFC fighter has made it quite clear that he wants to build the promotion from the ground up and bring it to the same level as UFC.
