Conor McGregor is one of the biggest names in the sport of mixed martial arts and is one of the greatest fighters to grace the UFC octagon. The Irishman has many records in UFC and is also the former two-division champion.
The Irishman made his UFC debut in 2013 and quickly rose to fame with his stunning performances. ‘The Notorious’ has won over some of the notable fighters, including Nate Diaz, Jose Aldo, Max Holloway, and more.
After just two years in the promotion, ‘The Notorious’ became a household name. He garnered a lot of attention from around the globe for his fighting style and also for his charismatic persona.

McGregor is a vicious fighter inside the MMA cage, but outside of it, the UFC star is a humorous character, which made him a point of interest for many shows and interviews.
During one such appearance at the famous Jimmy Kimmel Live show in 2015, ‘The Notorious’ gave a clever answer to Kimmel’s question that made fans burst into laughter.

Kimmel asked McGregor when did he realize he was good at fighting. To which the former UFC champion replied by saying, “Well, what age did I mean? I am Irish. We are all good at fighting. We are all good.”
‘The Notorious’ looked invincible until 2016. However, after that, the Irishman has had a hard time finding his way back to the win column.

In 2018, McGregor returned to the UFC octagon and took on the lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. Chiefly, the Dagestan native submitted the former champion in the fourth round of the fight.
Interestingly, in 2020, McGregor bounced back into the win column with a stunning first-round knockout win over Donald Cerrone. But later he suffered two defeats against the same opponent, Dustin Poirier, in the following year.

In his last fight against ‘The Diamond’ in 2021, McGregor suffered a gruesome leg injury which has kept him out of the octagon. However, he has recovered and is expected to make a comeback this year.
