Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling went against each other in the main event of UFC 288. Without a doubt, the fight kept the fans at the peak of excitement. However, many also seemed to believe Cejudo could have done better. While Sterling received boatloads of appreciation, ‘Triple C’ was denied any upliftment following his loss via split decision.
Conor McGregor knows where and how to strike well enough. To add spice to Cejudo’s loss, McGregor took to Twitter in order to thank him for the ‘easy money’. He showed off a brand-new hat and all the shopping he did in advance. Without a doubt, the former UFC double champion didn’t fall behind in criticizing the Olympic gold medalist. ‘The Notorious’ then went ahead and trolled Cejudo’s fighting style and called him a “genius”.

Soon after Sterling emerged the victor of the UFC 288 main event, the world boomed in to congratulate the ‘Funk Master’. Unquestionably, ‘Mystic Mac’ was also one of them. He shared a video on Twitter where he congratulated Sterling and showed off his new Gucci.

He said, “Coach McDaddy in the place. Congrats Funk Master. Great fight. I knew you were gonna win that, man. Easiest money I’ve ever made. I already went shopping in advance and everything Gucci, though.”
However, he did not back away from trolling Cejudo. He said, “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. You were here like this [mimics Cejudo’s defense] and you’re like doing this [lifts right leg while keeping right arm extended] and I was like… You were doing this little thing and I was like what the f**k is that? I’ve never seen that. This guy is a f**king genius, yeah…”
McGregor sent a barrage of tweets targeting ‘Triple C’
‘The Notorious’ is infamous for putting out multiple tweets with not much filter attached. He seemingly didn’t leave a single stone unturned after Cejudo’s defeat. McGregor made fun of Cejudo’s “Mastermind stuff”.
