After dominating in the UFC ring, Conor Mcgregor is now making wrestlers fail in front of him! The notorious one was recently engaged in a sparring session with Richie Lewis. Lewis is a former freestyle wrestling champion. The video uploaded on Twitter gives us a glimpse of McGregor and his training session. Known for his striking ability and movement, McGregor is seen adding a new dimension to his game. 

Richie Lewis is currently helping McGregor sharpen his skills. Wrestling has never been a territory that McGregor was well-versed in. However, with his recent videos, he seems to be working hard towards it. With that being said, seeing how he lines up in his upcoming matches will be interesting. 

Conor McGregor is a tough opponent to take down

McGregor has been one of the most talented and fierce striker in UFC. He proved his mettle by main eventing Fight Nights in only his third bout. The Irishman was headlining UFC PPVs by the time he played his sixth match in 2015. Thus, taking down a man of such calibre in the ring was not an easy task even for the former champ, Lewis.

In the initial phase of the video, we see McGregor lining up against the wrestling pro. The 35-year-old was swiftly moving around the ring, trying to measure his opponent. Lewis also looked ready for the challenge and took him on. Both of them looked in sublime shape and were smooth in their movements. As the session progressed, Lewis attempted to take down the Notorious One. However, much to the surprise of everyone, he failed to do so!

McGregor showed significant strength to hold off the challenge. Lewis also had a surprised look on his face as he was probably not expecting such a resilient show from wrestler McGregor. The Irishman is all set to make a comeback against Michael Chandler.

Looking at this incredible display of strength from McGregor, fans are excited to see him make a comeback soon.

McGregor, who has an impressive record (22-6) in the UFC, will look to dominate the fight against Chandler as well. However, one cannot undermine the chances of Chandler, as he is no lesser when it comes to dominating his opponents. 

Michael Chandler is one of the most skillful fighters around. The 3-time Bellator Lightweight Champion is a force to reckon with. Both Chandler and McGregor know each other very well. They both were the stars of the’ The Ultimate Fighter’ 31 show, which Chandler dominated thoroughly. Both the fighters were supposed to fight each other in 2023 itself. However, that did not materialize due to the USADA norms.
