UFC Paris is all set to take place at the end of this weekend, and both Benoit Saint-Denis and Renato Moicano are ready to set the Octagon on fire with their fight. ‘Money Moicano’ is riding a three-fight winning streak, while on the other hand, ‘God Of War’ lost his last bout against Dustin Poirier by a knockout. The MMA community might consider it to be an easy fight for Moicano due to his winning streak but defeating a man, who went toe-to-toe against Poirier and that too in a horrible staph infection is a no joke.

According to former middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, Renato Moicano has no idea what he is getting into. And Bisping is not the only UFC insider, who is worried about the Brazilian’s fate. Why, you might ask? Well, that’s because ‘God Of War’ desperately needs a win and as he is fighting in his home country, it would be difficult to defeat him. In addition to that his performance against Dustin Poirier was exceptionally good.
While in conversation with Chael Sonnen on Good Guy/Bad Guy, Daniel Cormier broke down the UFC Paris headliner fight. “But now he’s put himself in a position where you have to take him seriously because he’s fighting Benoit Saint Denis, who just shared the stage with Dustin Poirier. They always say in the game you get the rub from the person that you stand across the Octagon or a wrestling ring with. You take some of that shine from Dustin Poirier on a pay-per-view in a co-main event,” said Cormier. ”
He further added, “But he’s got a tough one against Benoit Saint, who also fought well against Dustin. Dude, he had a horrible staph infection going into that fight; he looked like he fatigued. But early in the fight, his wrestling and his fearlessness really did cause Dustin Poirier some problems.” With a record of 13 victories and 2 losses, ‘God Of War’ has a 100% finish ratio as compared to 58% of Moicano.

Michael Bisping believes Moicano will be getting a tough fight against BSD
Talking to TNT Sports, Michael Bisping believes that Renato Moicano would find it tough to fight against ‘God Of War’ in front of the partisan crowd- “In the main event, it’s the French special forces. The violent and aggressive Benoit Saint Denis, the man that almost decapitated and finished Dustin Poirier on a number of occasions, but then he got tired and he got finished.”

He further added, “But a star was born, because if you almost do that to Dustin Poirier, there’s still a lot of positives to go at. In steps the opponent, Renato ‘Money’ Moicano, a man that is also slowly doing his own thing, becoming a star in the lightweight division, which isn’t an easy thing to do because it’s so stacked. I cannot wait for it. Benoit Saint Denis is going to be extra violent because he’s in Paris. He’s going to have that crazy crowd going absolutely mental.”
The odds are heavily in favor of Saint-Denis, as of today BSD is at -275 while his opponent, Moicano is at +225. Regardless, what’s your take on the matchup? State your thoughts in the comments below.
