Sean Strickland is one of the most interesting fighters on the UFC’s middleweight roster. The American Mixed Martial Artist remains one of the most controversial fighters in the promotion because of his carefree opinions on sensitive topics.

However, no one can deny the fact that ‘Tarzan’ is one of the toughest guys in MMA. The middleweight occasionally spars with fighters far bigger than him. One of the most notable examples is ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ Francis Ngannou.

Recently, he released a footage of him sparring with light heavyweight fighter Dominick Reyes. “Welcoming domreyes24 back to training after a injury. It’s hard to trust your body. Didn’t know this was being recorded. Thanks for the post and love @ufcanz,” he captioned the Instagram post.

‘The Devastator’ Dominick Reyes is currently #7 on the light heavyweight charts. Although the 32-year-old had a dreamy start to his career as he went undefeated for several years, the 205-pound kingpin Jon Jones snapped his streak back in 2020.

Since then, Reyes (12-3) has been facing defeat in all of his fights. Former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz stopped Reyes to claim the vacant title after ‘Bones’ departure from the division.

In the following fight, it was Jiri Prochazka‘s highlight spinning elbow that knocked him out in the 2nd round.

Sean Strickland, on the other hand, has been on a roll at the UFC with a six-fight winning streak

Who is Sean Strickland fighting next?

The Fight Night event will see two ranked middleweight giants battling it out inside the octagon. A win for ‘Tarzan’ will bring him closer to fighting his dream opponent and middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. On the flip side, if Hermansson wins, we might see him calling out the ‘Lone Wolf’ Khamzat Chimaev for a rematch.
