Kyrgyzstani female MMA prospect, Valentina Shevchenko had done almost everything to prove herself in one of the biggest MMA promotions in the world. ‘Bullet’ stands at the pinnacle of the number one women’s pound-for-pound roster with an impeccable record of 22-3 under her name.

In 2018, ‘Bullet’ became the women’s flyweight champion. Ever since then there has been no stopping her. Shevchenko destroyed almost every contender on the roster who tried to reach the title.
The Kyrgyzstani female UFC champion has six consecutive title defenses under her name. Now, as she prepares for her seventh UFC title defense, an old video of Shevchenko has been unearthed.
The video shows 17-year-old Shevchenko destroying her opponent in the first round of the fight at Professional Savat fight, Russia, in 2005. In the last few seconds of the round, ‘Bullet’ dropped her opponent with her signature spinning back kick followed by a huge right hand.

Later, as her opponent stood back up, Shevchenko went all guns out. She unleashed a barrage of vicious punches and kicks until the opponents’ corner threw the towel and stopped the fight.
‘Bullet’ brought the crowd to their feet in the stadium with her stunning performance. Later, she also entertained the audience with her victory dance, which she still continues to do in the UFC.
Who is Valentina Shevchenko fighting next in the UFC?
After defending her UFC flyweight crown for the sixth time last year, Shevchenko will be back in action this weekend. In her seventh UFC title defense, ‘Bullet’ will take on the Brazilian female fighter Taila Santos inside the cage.
The number four UFC female flyweight contender Santos has only lost once in her UFC career. She is currently in her best form with four fight win streak under her name.

However, ‘Bullet’ is one of the most decorated female fighters in the promotion, who has torn apart the division. Hence, the Brazilian Santos will have to bring her best while facing Shevchenko inside the cage.

This much-anticipated flyweight title bout will serve as the co-main event for the first ever UFC pay-per-view in Singapore. The UFC 275 event will take place on June 11, 2022, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.
