Marcin Tybura and Walt Harris clashed in a heavyweight bout in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs Sakai. ‘Tybur’ earned a first-round finish over ‘The Big Ticket’ to extend his current winning streak to 5 fights inside the UFC Octagon.

Harris started the fight with fire, as always. He had Tybura hurt, and it looked like he might get the finish at one point. However, Tybura caught a kick Harris threw and took him down. That was the end of the beginning for the no.8 heavyweight contender, Harris. He got pummeled in the ground with punches and eventually got finished.

Harris, who suffered his 10th career defeat, has now lost 3 back-to-back fights. Alexander Volkov and Alistair Overeem finished ‘The Big Ticket’ previously. As for Tybura, he earned back-to-back finishes now. He stopped Greg Hardy in his last fight inside the Octagon.

On the back of his ninth career T/KO win, Tybura has now extended his record to 22-6.

Tybura showed his wrestling credentials, controlling his opponent on the ground. His chin was on display once again, as he was able to take all the shots that his opponent offered.

What’s next for Marcin Tybura and Walt Harris?

Ahead of the fight, ‘Tybur’ sat at 11 in the UFC rankings. He can certainly expect to enter the top 10 after his performance tonight. Furthermore, he will get an even higher-ranked opponent in his next fight for sure. However, Tybura didn’t call out a specific name for his next appearance inside the Octagon.
