Jiri Prochazka is one of the fastest rising stars in the UFC. The Czech mixed martial artist is a certified knockout artist and made an instant impact after signing with the UFC.
‘Denisa’ is a former Rizin light heavyweight champion and signed with the UFC in 2020. He entered the organization with a 26-3-1 record and was expected to be the next big thing in the division. And Prochazka did not disappoint. The 29-year-old made light work of Volkan Oezdemir on his debut. He won the fight via a second-round knockout.
However, his next outing was even more impressive. He met former title challenger, Dominick Reyes, at UFC Vegas 25, and constantly put pressure on him. He landed some huge strikes and finished the fight with a spectacular spinning back elbow knockout. This won him the Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night bonus.
