Jan Blachowicz is hands down one of the most dominant fighters in the light heavyweight division. At UFC 253, the Polish powerhouse defeated Dominick Reyes to win the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship. Blachowicz defended his championship against the Style Bender earlier this year and won by unanimous decision. This made Blachowicz the first man to have ever defeated Israel Adesanya in his fighting career.

At the moment, the fighter is on a roll at UFC. He has won nine of his previous ten fights and has a five-fight winning streak going for him. This weekend, at UFC 267, Blachowicz will compete against Glover Teixeira for the UFC light heavyweight championship. Glover is on a five-fight win streak as well and will look to prove himself worthy of the title against Blachowicz. This will be Texeira’s second UFC title attempt, his first being at UFC 172 against Jon Jones.

In the build-up to their huge fight at the UFC 267 event, we didn’t get to see a lot of bad blood between the two fighters. Unlike most fighters, who trash talk and discourage their opponents before the fights, these two fighters wished each other luck. The Polish fighter went one step further by gifting Glover a unique present from Poland.

Jan Blachowicz vs Glover Teixeira: Prediction

Jan Blachowicz has proved his exceptional fight IQ in his previous fight against Adesanya, who is one of the sport’s most innovative fighters. He is dangerous with his striking and has the potential to unleash game-changing blows when he connects.

In terms of striking power and speed, Blachowicz will have a considerable advantage against Glover Teixeira. The Brazilian challenger, on the other hand, has a fantastic ground game and is considerably more experienced in the grappling field.

To win, both fighters must display patience, considering their fighting techniques are so different. Each of them might end up in a difficult scenario if they make a single mistake. Glover must rely on his ground abilities, whereas Blachowicz must rely on his power and timing.
