VIDEO: Israel Adesanya and City Kickboxing Gym Go Wild Celebrating the UFC Signing of Their Teammate

City Kickboxing Gym has plenty to celebrate following the news of the UFC signing of fellow teammate, Mike ‘Blood’ Diamond. UFC stars such as Alexander Volkanovski, Dan Hooker, and Kai Kara France took to social media and warned UFC fans and fighters of his arrival.

The top prospect in Diamond who hails from a kickboxing background is expected to make waves in the organization.

Chiefly, a video has been making the rounds on social media that sees the entire gym celebrate Diamond’s recent success. City Kickboxing’s Head Coach Eugene Bareman and middleweight champion Israel Adesanya look on as ‘Blood’ Diamond steps up to collect his contract. The 3-0 MMA prospect had some things to say to the entire gym who was in attendance for the celebration.

“What can I say. To be honest, I’m not surprised you know. I really don’t know what to say but thank you very much for all you guys that have been supporting and I know a lot of people have been asking me ‘When am I getting into the UFC?’, Well, here is the proof.”

City Kickboxing is here to stay

It’s a heartwarming sight to see a prolific gym such as CKB come together to celebrate the success of their teammate. CKB is known for its atmosphere and fellowship and loyalty and it’s certainly on full display here. A UFC signing rooted in such fanfare is bound to capture the attention of the entire MMA community as a whole.

Fans will undoubtedly be on the lookout for Mike Diamond when his first fight gets announced. Not to mention, CKB continuously produces stand-outs and there will be a lot of expectations riding on his shoulders. However, given the confidence his teammates have in him, it’s likely that he’ll hit the ground running from the get-go.

CKB has consistently produced high-level MMA talent and the signing of ‘Blood’ Diamond is definitely a step in the right direction. CKB already has two champions in the UFC from their gym and they wouldn’t mind adding another belt holder to the ranks.
