At UFC Fight Night: Rodriguez vs. Waterson, MMA fans witnessed an intriguing heavyweight clash between Maurice Greene vs. Marcos Rogerio de Lima. This heated clash required the referee Herb Dean to step in to warn both the fighters.
Herb Dean is one of the most respected referees in the UFC. Even the UFC President Dana White has said pleasant things about him. Dean is a referee who allows nothing besides a fair fight. He doesn’t like when any fighters break the rules.

Both the fighters, Greene and De Lima, had a dog fight inside the octagon. That led them both to break a few MMA rules. Greene had his hands over the eye of de Lima that led to some eye pokes. Also, De Lima threw a punch after the bell rang to signal the end of the second round.

Marcos Rogerio de Lima wanted to make a huge comeback after his opening round submission setback in his last outing. ‘Pezao’ lost to Alexandr Romanov at UFC Fight Night: Thiago Santos vs. Glover Teixeira.

In pursuit of a win, ‘Pezao’ dominated Greene throughout the fight. He took the bout to the ground and controlled everything. From the first round to the last round, it was all De Lima. Hence, he secured a unanimous decision victory over Greene and made a magnificent comeback.
