Fight fans observed one such moment at Sub Spectrum BJJ’s tournament event, Sub Spectrum 7. Where Renzo Gracie Portland’s Hannah Sharp ended up dislocating her opponent’s elbow while trying to submit her with a mounted Kimura submission.

Sharp was on top as she grappled with her opponent. On the flip side, the opponent was trying to lock Sharp in a headlock, but she found no success. It was at this moment that Sharp tried to get out of her opponent’s hold with a yank.
Although she get out of her opponent’s hold, she ended up breaking the latter’s arm. The judges and referee could only watch in horror as the fighter sit up with her broken arm.

One such instance was when UFC veteran Chris Weidman broke his shin during a bout in the octagon. The former UFC middleweight champion was fighting in a bout against ranked middleweight fighter Uriah Hall at UFC 261 in April 2021.
The 37-year-old, being one of the toughest fighters in the UFC, was expected to give a tough fight to his opponent. However, things went against the veteran as the first strike he threw ended up snapping the bones in his leg. And fans could only look in horror as he collapsed on the mat in agony.
