Khabib Nurmagomedov was recently almost attacked by a fan. While ‘The Eagle’ was walking through a passage, a fan tried to break the security barrier running towards the Russian. Nurmagomedov was surprisingly limping on the clip as well. What exactly happened in the lobby incident needs more clarification.

The former UFC lightweight champion is currently enjoying retirement. But, he remains one of the biggest fan favorites. But clearly, not everyone is an admirer of him. While the actions of the fan who tried to attack him are highly questionable, this goes to show that even UFC fighters need to be under security supervision, especially the biggest stars.

Nurmagomedov is currently busy promoting his MMA organization, Eagle FC. He also bought the Gorilla Fighting Championship promotion with $1 Million recently.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is now a UFC shareholder

Nurmagomedov recently revealed at a press conference of the Gorilla Fighting Championship that he has bought shares of the UFC. Recently UFC’s parent company, Endeavour, was made public property. Nurmagomedov maximized on that and bought shares of the company. He is certainly making his mark in the business world as well.

He established his legacy as one of the best UFC fighters of all time during his career. He defeated the likes of Edson Barboza, Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, Rafael dos Anjos, and more. The Dagestani retired with an incredible 29-0 record after defeating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

Fans wanted to see him fight more. However, losing his father Abdulmanap because of coronavirus played a pivotal role in his decision. Khabib wanted to spend more time with his family. So, he decided to retire.

The recent incident is not something his fans would have liked to see. Personalities like Nurmagomedov divide opinions. This is just a consequence of the same.
