Derrick Lewis will take on Ciryl Gane at UFC 265 this weekend. The heavyweight clash will go down in the main event of the pay-per-view card. Also, adding to the fans’ anticipation, the interim heavyweight title will be on the line at the event.

Ahead of the clash, Lewis crashed Gane’s interview. While ‘Bon Gamin’ was talking to the media, Lewis, who was visible in the background as he went down the escalator, made a gesture to the cameras. Well, fans who have been following Lewis for a while will know that the heavyweight contender is one of the most colorful personalities on the entire roster.

The clash will go down in Houston, Texas, i.e. Lewis’ hometown. ‘The Black Beast’ will look to get his hands on UFC gold in front of his home fans.

However, he will have a tough task at hand, as Gane is a unique fighter. His fluid movement and awkward style are a nightmare for any heavyweight to handle. That being said, Lewis can put anyone to sleep with one shot. And, he will have 25 minutes to land that blow.

As mentioned earlier, the winner of this intriguing heavyweight contest will be crowned the new interim champion of the division. So, it only makes sense that they get to unify the belt against the champion, Francis Ngannou, next. ‘The Predator’ is currently on the sidelines, having become the undisputed king of the division at UFC 260.

It will be interesting to see who eventually becomes the interim champion. Stylistically, the fight is a striking battle. But Gane has the credentials to surprise Lewis with his grappling as well.
