Max Holloway recently took on Yair Rodriguez at UFC Vegas 42 and came out the winner. Both men went through an absolute war and kept going after each other throughout the fight. It was a great show for the fans, and it kept everyone glued to their screens for the fight. One guy who was definitely watching was Conor McGregor.
Holloway and McGregor have been involved in a recent Twitter spat, with both men having a dig at the other. ‘The Notorious’ further hinted towards a potential matchup with ‘Blessed.’ During Max Holloway’s introduction before the fight, McGregor seemed to stare him down from his TV.
He shared the video on Twitter, in which he was pacing left to right when Holloway’s name was being announced.

A video like this after a Twitter spat between the two only adds fuel to the fire. Both men seem interested in fighting each other, but McGregor is still on the sidelines. He is recovering from the injury sustained during the trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.
Max Holloway vs. Conor McGregor
Two of the most popular fighters in the world of MMA are not letting each other off easy. Holloway and McGregor have continued their Twitter spat, with both not willing to take a step back. Before Holloway’s fight at UFC Vegas 42, The Irishman took shots at him.
‘Blessed‘ constantly calls himself the best boxer in the UFC. However, the former two-division UFC champ didn’t think so.
He said, “Best boxer my a** crack. The guys been smacked the most smacks in UFC history! Most shots absorbed is not best boxer guys. I’m sorry, and I love the kid.”

However, after his fight, Holloway clapped back at his old rival’s claim of only counting knockout wins. He wrote, “Undefeated.”

Both men seem eager to fight each other, but UFC President Dana White isn’t too keen on it.
When asked about the whole situation and talk involving Holloway and McGregor, he said, “I don’t know what’s next for Max, but it does make sense to see him and Volkanovski again. We’ll get that figured out. Conor’s still hurt. I mean, to even talk about Conor is silly.”

Whatever is next for McGregor and Holloway will be interesting to see. However, the MMA community would be hoping for a future fight between the two.
