Adesanya, in a conversation with MacLife, revealed the reason the American fighter repeatedly called him Chinese and did animate stuff. The Auckland native disclosed that Strickland was insecure, and he tried to cover that up with the shenanigans the fans are used to seeing him do. But that didn’t affect him, as he had already worked on himself.

Adesanya said, “I’m gonna get a mobile nail salon… I’m gonna break my nail on his face. Guy is insecure. I’ve dealt with him behind the cameras and all that. He’s very insecure. Covers it up with a lot of stuff. But that’s not for me. That’s a him problem, not a me problem. I know who I am. And I’ve done the work with myself that I don’t give a f*ck.”

Previously, he had disclosed his desire to do a TikTok dance if he were to bag a KO win. “I gotta do it [TikTok]. So I have to knock him out just so I can do the TikTok. That’s the only reason I’m knocking him out. Just so I could do a TikTok dance over his grave,” Adesanya added.
