There are not many fighters that have achieved cult status in the UFC. However, Cain Velasquez certainly is not one of them. The former two-time UFC heavyweight champion has had the backing of his loyal fans throughout his troubled past. Fans are delighted when things are finally turning right for Velasquez in his legal battle as he recently got bail. However, his joyful fans were excited to see their favorite return to the gym where ‘he truly belongs’.

Fans react to Cain Velasquez, returning to AKA

The fans were delighted to see the former UFC heavyweight champion return to the American Kickboxing Academy. As reported by MMA Junkie, Velasquez, returned to his previous gym. After his recent controversy and troubles, fans were delighted to see the UFC legend practice and teach mixed martial arts to the young generation.

One fan said, “Great to see heavyweight goat back to aka”.

There were chants of Velasquez returning to his affiliated gym. Some fans wrote, “Welcome back cain.”

While some fans were happy to hear the news, “Glad to hear this”.

Furthermore, one fan wrote, “The king is back”.

Another social media user was delighted to see the heavyweight legend back at the gym, “Glad to see him back in the gym”.

Similarly, one Instagram user commented, “Back to where he truly belongs”.

Moreover, one fan was happy for the younger fighters in the gym, as they would get some mentorship from Velasquez. They said, “Fantastic minds to have back in the gym for younger fighters.”

The fans were excited to see the former heavyweight champion back at AKA. One fan wrote, “Great to see heavyweight goat back to aka”.

Updates on Cain Velasquez’s legal case

Currently, Velasquez is out on bail. He appeared in the Santa Clara County, California courtroom. His next appearance is set for March this year. The former UFC heavyweight faces several charges. Furthermore, this time has not been the best of times for the Velasquez family.

It remains to be seen what happens with Velasquez in his recent controversial case. However, his fans are happy upon seeing their favorite fighter back in the gym.
