UFC is the biggest and premier MMA promotion in the world. The American company is the top dog in their industry, with their infrastructure and the quality of competitors. However, for fighters, establishing their name in the UFC is an uphill task. Every fighter goes through a lot of hardships to get into the number one MMA promotion.
However, that’s just not enough. The fighters need to strive harder to achieve bigger and greater things. Some fighters were unable to make a mark in the UFC but became highly successful outside it. One of them is Rin Nakai. Nakai has achieved a whooping number of 26 victories in her fighting career with just 2 losses. She suffered two losses while she was in the UFC and the MMA star soon left the promotion.
At the moment, Nakai is fighting in the Deep-Jewels 40. Recently, she secured a great victory against Aoi Kuriyama via a rear naked choke in round two. Furthermore, following her victory, the flyweight fighter politely called out the UFC’s #2-ranked women’s pound-for-pound fighter, Valentina Shevchenko. The UFC champion through her Twitter account, let the world know that she is ready to fight Nakai, but on one condition.

Valentina Shevchenko reacts to Rin Nakai’s callout
The MMA reporter, Robert Sargent, wrote on Twitter “Rin Nakai and Machi Fukuda choked out their opponents in tonight’s #DeepJewels40 headliners. Nakai issued a polite callout to @BulletValentina, who was at the venue earlier in the day”.

As a reply to his tweet the ‘Bullet’ wrote “@RinNakai2 Come back to @ufc get yourself into to #Top10 and I am willing to check your skills.“After putting forward her condition, the UFC’s former women’s flyweight champion congratulated the Japanese fighter for her most recent victory. Bullet wrote, “Also congratulations with your recent victory“

What went wrong with Nakai at the UFC?
After sixteen victories and a draw, Nakai stepped into the UFC octagon to fight against Miesha Tate for UFC Fight Night 52. The Japanese MMA star lost the bout via decision. Her next UFC fight also turned in favor of her opponent. She fought against Leslie Smith at UFC Fight Night 85.

However, she once again lost the bout via decision in round three. These two losses paved the way for her premature departure from the promotion. Nonetheless, after again achieving winning streaks, the Japanese fighter desires to try her luck in the promotion once again.
