The former UFC champion, Robert Whittaker, will face the Brazilian fighter, Paulo Costa at UFC 284. Fighting in front of his home crowd, a win at the RAC Arena will inch the middleweight fighter closer to the title shot against the division’s newly crowned champion, Alex Pereira. However, until then, the Australian fighter is enjoying his time off the Octagon. And, notably, recently, the Whittaker couple had an unlikely destination as their date.

‘The Reaper’, along with his wife Sofia, made an appearance at the Canadian clinical psychologist, Jordan Peterson, as their date night.

How did the fans react to Robert Whittaker and Sofia’s visit?

Significantly, some fans remained unbothered and sidelined the appearance as a private affair. However, some also questioned the political alignment of the Australian fighter.

Also, an MMA fan came in defense of ‘Bobby Knuckles’. Thus, the fan insisted, “Hate to break it to y’all but if you are attacking Rob for this you are genuinely what is wrong with this soft world”

Another fan revealed their confusion regarding the chaos that followed. Further, they admitted their inability to understand the Americans.

Further, someone cautioned the fans and replied, “Just a reminder that the people who beat folks up for a living are not your friends and you likely share very few common values.”

A fan announced, “Bobby may naively be into Jordan Peterson BUT THIS IS STILL. MY. BOY!”

Another fan advised the fighter to not worry about the fake fans.

Someone also pointed out that it was a worse date night activity.

One user referred to Whittaker’s previous fights with Israel Adesanya. Notably, the 31-year-old fighter lost twice to ‘The Stylebender’. Markedly, these two losses remain his only losses inside the Octagon since 2014.

Notably, the 24-6 record holder broke his one-loss slump as he scored a win against Marvin Vettori on Sept 2022.

The #2 ranked middleweight fight is currently in a pole position to become the next in line for the shot at the gold.
