Michael Bisping and Conor McGregor have never fought with each other in their career. However, the pair was involved in a Twitter war in 2022 after McGregor mocked Bisping’s acting career. The 35-year-old threatened to “go to war” with the former UFC champion. Bisping also advised the two-division champion to walk around with bodyguards with him when they cross paths next. However, the Twitter war ended after the pair made peace on Social Media.

However, in his recent YouTube video, Bisping cleared the air and said: “No, but listen, I used to be kind of emotionally influenced by some of the comments I would say. But I’m totally over all that stuff now. Because McGregor used to get on my t..s you know what I mean. Because he came after me in public and he said a lot of s..t. So sometimes I might let my emotions skew my take.”

Bisping, then went on to commend the former lightweight champion, adding, “He’s entertaining, he’s good for the sport, he’s the biggest star. So as a fan, I say it’s frustrating because I just wanna see him back in there. And I need some s..t to talk about for the podcast and for my YouTube channel.”

Conor McGregor took to his X account to reveal the date for his return. He also picked Michael Chandler as his next opponent. The pair have been waiting for a long time to lock horns against each other, and it seems the fight will finally happen. However, Bisping believes there is a lot in store for the Dubliner next.
