Jiri Prochazka had a disappointing end to 2022 after suffering a nasty shoulder injury in November. As a result, the former UFC light heavyweight champion vacated his title and pulled out of his UFC 282 bout against Glover Teixeira. However, fans seem to be questioning his injury.

In Prochazka’s absence, the UFC had to make two consecutive title fights to determine the new 205 lbs champion. The rescheduled UFC 282 bout between Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev ended in a split draw. Later, at UFC 283, Jamahal Hill beat Glover Teixeira into retirement and claimed the title.

Now, almost six months since his injury, Prochazka is showing off his recovery with a short clip. But fans are expressing concerns about the fighter’s injury after spotting some irregularities in the clip.

When fans first doubted Jiri Prochazka

Czech light heavyweight star Jiri Prochazka has been on the sidelines for months due to his shoulder injury. ‘Denisa’ looks to have been recovering well and occasionally shares updates regarding the same. However, fans are often doubtful as to the nature and legitimacy of the injury.

Back in November 2022, Dana White described it as the worst shoulder injury ever in the UFC. He said, “It’s really f***ing bad. His shoulder is very, very bad. He’s going to have serious surgery that will require extensive rehab.”

However, when the 30-year-old shared a picture of himself in February 2023, fans were scratching their heads for a few reasons. Many of them noticed his physique had changed and asked for proof of the shoulder injury. Now, the Czech Samurai has shared another clip of himself, and fans are doubting him again.

Many fans have been overtly hinting at PED use leading to Prochazka sitting out since November. However, that remains speculation at the moment. But that did not stop the fans from taking a few shots at Denisa. Under a Reddit post of a clip of the former champ, fans had some fun trolling his unconventional methods.
