We are just a week away from witnessing Sean O’Malley defend his 135 lbs title once again and this time the opponent is none other than wrestling-heavy Merab Dvalishvili. Well, ahead of their scheduled bout, the MMA community witnessed a pretty heart-warming daddy-daughter moment between O’Malley and his daughter Elena O’Malley. ‘ESPN’ gave us a snippet of the adorable relationship, however, a UFC star appeared to have ruined it.

He further added, “And I was like, ‘I want kids’. She is fun to hang out with and loves jumping on the trampoline. She is getting ready for a brother or sister, eventually. We would like to move in that direction, yeah, but the coolest thing about what I get to do is that I don’t have a full-time job, so I can be home as much as possible. I can be with Elena more.”

The video was a heartwarming treat for fans, but it seems that some people might not want to see it. Why? Well, that’s because of the fact that former UFC fighter, Al Iaquinta’s comments on the daddy-daughter moment have ruined the vibe. The former fighter took to his Instagram handle to add a few comments on the post. He wrote, “Imagine being a young chick watching interviews with your dad talking about nonsense. SMH”

The time when O’Malley crossed the limits

Sean O’Malley has always asserted that he is in an open relationship with his wife Danny Gonzalvez. So what does it mean? Well, it means that you are allowed to seek partners. However, it must be noted that O’Malley never actually allowed Gonzalez to have extra partners. One of his conversations ‘Raw Talk’ podcasts got him a tremendous amount of backlash as he said that he has the right to cheat because he pays for everything.

“I’m a king. I pay for everything. I treat Danny like a queen. If I get a little p**s on the side, what does that have to do with anything? I have testosterone running through my veins – it’s that f*****g simple. I wouldn’t say that if I was in the opposite position if I wasn’t paying for everything, if I wasn’t successful,” said O’Malley.

It was such a huge statement that the former light-heavyweight champ, Vitor Belfort, had to come forward to raise the issue. The former champ took to his x handle to state his sadness. “Reading this deeply saddened me. It’s disheartening to see that many professional athletes end up with multiple ex-wives due to such behaviors. You serve as a negative role model for this generation. I genuinely hope that one day you reflect upon and change this terrible behavior. While you may be a great fighter, your actions as a father and husband are deplorable.”

This is the reason why Iaquinta appears to have a problem with Sean O’Malley’s daddy-daughter moment. Regardless, what’s your take on the hubbub? State your thoughts in the comments below.
