In episode #1879 of the JRE, Rogan shared the mic with Ari Shaffir, Tom Segura, and Bert Kreischer. While the podcast revolved mostly around health and Bert Kreischer’s health recovery, not-so-sober on the set theatrics and in between these conversations, Joe Rogan told “the truth” about his and Liver King’s physique.

What did Joe Rogan reveal?

While Bert Kreischer was describing his doctors’ visit history and discussing his health improvements, Kreischer showed the assembled group his shirtless picture.

Talking on the same note, Kreischer talked about the recent Joe Rogan shirtless picture that went viral. He thus said, “Your [Joe Rogan’s] picture, I hope you don’t mind, it’s unreal. I wanted to leak it.”

To this, the former Fear Factor host replied, “I’m on testosterone, unlike the Liver King. I’ll tell you the truth.”

This was undeniably a subtle reference to the beef between the podcast host and the fitness influencer Brian Johnson, aka Liver King.

In the same section, ‘The Machine’ Kreischer shared his experience of eating raw liver. Following this, he disclosed, “I just had raw liver” and further confessed, “Yeah, with the Liver King.”

While Rogan was surprised, Kreischer was not the first to follow Liver King’s ancestral tenants.

Rogan and Liver King’s beef

Brian Johnson has seen his stock rise because of his advocacy of a raw organ meat diet, and the resultant ripped physique. Besides, he holds stern beliefs in going back to the ancestral lifestyle. Following nine ancestral tenets, Liver King believes people can replicate and achieve a shredded physique.

However, some people have their own concerns about it. The UFC commentator himself has his doubts. Subsequently, he raised his doubts on his podcast with neurologist Dr. Andrew Huberman.

Hence, he said, “The Liver King thing drives me nuts because that guy is on steroids.” Further, Rogan declared that Liver King belonged to a very rare genetical pool of “.000001% of human population”.

After this podcast went on air, Liver King posted an Instagram video and explained how the color commentator could benefit from nine ancestral tenets. Instead of taking it to his heart, he thanked the 55-year-old stand-up comic.

Liver King captioned his video, “All I’m hearing is that Liver King is a freak of nature… and I couldn’t be more grateful to @joerogan !”

Afterwards, Liver King in a conversation with Mark Bell responded to the scathing remarks of Joe Rogan. Thus, he said, “I don’t touch this stuff [steriods].” Concluding his statement, he indicated that he wouldn’t do so in the future too.
