The Joe Rogan Experience is the most popular podcast in the United States and no wonder. It was on his show where a few years ago, Tesla founder Elon Musk made a surprise appearance, and where wrestler Daniel Cormier gave an interview after losing by KO to Joe Jones. In addition, it turns out to be really profitable. Some time ago, Forbes magazine published that Rogan received 40 million a year for his podcast thanks to the over 200 million downloads.
2019 was, without a doubt, one of its best years, as it became the most downloaded on Apple devices and one of the most listened to in the world. On YouTube, the comedian has 16 million subscribers, a figure that shows that he has a solid fan base that enjoys each interview. But it seems like Rogan is finally making a mark on the demographic that has always been a challenge for him to crack: the female viewer base. A recent statistic surely would’ve made Rogan breathe a sigh of relief.
The JRE has always been a favorite amongst young men. Listeners aged between 20 and 35 often enjoy the exploits of the podcaster, as well as the stories of the intriguing guests he brings. However, his podcast always fell short when it came to grabbing the attention of the female audience. In fact, many women even claimed that men who listen to JRE seem less attractive to them. At least until now. A new statistic has revealed that the Joe Rogan Experience has finally become the second most-watched podcast among women.

According to a recent report by Edison podcast Metrics US, Joe Rogan‘s JRE has ranked second among the top 10 most listened-to podcasts by women. This is truly an amazing feat since the UFC commentator managed to beat the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, which ranked 5th on the list. For the unaware, the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast has a women-centric theme and enjoys a female audience base of 76%. The only podcast to beat JRE and rank on the top was Audiochuck’s Crime Junkie podcast.

The podcast, which is closer to a talk show, lasts at least 3 hours and deals with different guests, on topics of all kinds, such as neuroscience, sports, comedy, health, and culture. All this is laced with a touch of humor and intrigue that manages to keep the audience hooked. So it is worthwhile to see Rogan finally cracking the code for a new key demographic. This would also be beneficial to presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, as the two have major plans to win votes via the platform.

Joe Rogan Experience to sway major votes
It is no secret by now that podcasts have become a major media tool for the Democrat and Republican candidates in this election. They have proven to be more impactful than traditional media, and as a result, Harris and Donald Trump have been appearing on top podcasts as guests. While Donald Trump was a guest on the ‘Full Send’ podcast, Kamala Harris was a part of the aforementioned ‘Call Her Daddy.’

However, the latest race between the two is to get a slot on the Joe Rogan Experience. As per recent polls, Kamala Harris enjoys the majority support of women in the United States; however, when it comes to men of all races, Donald Trump reigns supreme as the favorite. As a result, Harris’ team has been contacting Joe Rogan to bring the Democrat candidate as a guest to help her gain the trust of the men listening to the podcast. While Donald Trump too has claimed that he is highly interested in being a part of the show as well.
And since even women are a major part of the audience share now, as evident from the aforementioned statistic, the Republican too has a chance to cater to a new voter share and earn their trust. However, there is yet to be any confirmation from Joe Rogan about having Trump on his show. But what do you think? Are you shocked to find JRE as one of the top podcasts for women listeners?
