Khabib Nurmagomedov recently found himself in an unfortunate incident where he was assisted out of a plane after a communication error. Well, not really. Khabib Nurmagomedov has stated several times how hard it is to travel with Islam Makhachev and the other fighters on his team, given that he also has responsibilities as a family man. At the moment, he believes that he and his team have been dominant in the MMA game for several years now, and that has allowed him to claim that he will be leaving his coaching role soon, but only when his fighters end their careers as well.

“When the guys finish, I’m going to finish. I hope it’s going to be very fast. I’m tired of all this,” Khabib Nurmagomedov told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. “We’ve been on top of this game for like 7-8 years since I became a champion. All these guys were with me. They were with my father when I was starting. There are still 6-8 [fighters competing] at a very high level. When they finish, I will finish too.”
