“Undefeated Until…”- Khamzat Chimaev’s Ex-opponent Warns UFC Star of Paulo Costa’s Threat For UFC 294

The rivalry between Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev has escalated, with their upcoming UFC 294 co-main event fueling intense anticipation among fans. The MMA scene is anticipating a thrilling contest between the two accomplished fighters as tensions mount and enthusiasm grows.

The animosity has gotten more heated on social media, and UFC fighter Kevin Holland has offered his opinion on their impending fight. Holland issued a warning to Chimaev concerning his bout with Paulo Costa.

Kevin Holland Warns Khamzat Chimaev considering Paulo Costa

While talking to the renowned sports journalist Helen Yee on her YouTube channel, Holland spilled the beans as he discussed his analysis regarding the bout. He laid it straight since he considered Costa as a tough competitor and believed that Costa could be an uphill climb in front of Khamzat Chimaev.

The conversation initiated when Yee asked Holland regarding his thoughts on this bout. Well, Holland seemed gripped by the question as he had an elongated answer considering the same.

He said, “That is actually pretty fun. A lot of people forget that Paulo Costa was what? Undefeated until he lost to Izzy. I think a lot of people forget how good Paulo Costa is so I think that is probably the toughest fight that Chimaev is going to have to this date especially with the size. They are both pretty big guys, I think Chimaev at 185 would be even more dominant than he was in 170. Just not as bad as a cut you know and can feel more comfortable so I think its a good fight. But we all know I don’t like Chimaev so I am going to put my money on Paulo Costa.”

Well it was apparent from the discussion that Holland’s thoughts were mostly inclined towards ‘The Eraser’. He was surely not on fence while backing Costa for the bout. Chimaev, despite being a tough competitor at 185 division, he was indeed supporting Costa. He bluntly hailed Costa considering his size as a biggest advantage. However, it was not the first warning Chimaev had considering the bout.

Belal Muhammad discussed Khamzat Chimaev’s upcoming bout against Costa while talking to Helen Yee ,highlighting his excitement for the fight. He emphasized the importance of wrestling in the match, stating that Khamzat’s wrestling skills are crucial for the fight.

He also mentioned that Costa’s size is the biggest threat for Chimaev. Furthermore, he also warned that taking down ‘The Eraser’ could be an uphill climb for Chimaev.
