Khamzat Chimaev wants to fight Robert Whittaker
Chimaev is known for his versatility in moving up and down the weight classes. He has now set his sight on the former UFC middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker. Chimaev appeared in an interview with ‘Red Corner MMA‘ and said, “I think I will fight Robert Whittaker. He’s got no opponent.” He also talked about Paulo Costa backing down from a fight. “Paulo Costa ran away after talking that much, so I will fight Robert Whittaker. I want this fight.”

“We’re going to have fun at the press conference and fight each other.”

Further, many fans sounded excited about the clash between Chimaev and Whittaker. They mentioned that the former middleweight champion is a better opponent since he won’t back off as Colby Covington did. The fans also stated that they do not want to see either Chimaev or Whittaker lose the fight, but would rather see Covington lose inside the octagon.
