Right after Said Nurmagomedov’s defeat via unanimous decision, Umar Nurmagomedov shared a picture of himself along with the UFC color commentator and former UFC heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, on social media. Furthermore, he surprised the world of mixed martial arts as he demanded DC get him a shot at the title. Without a moment’s delay, the UFC fans took over the comments section. Surprisingly, the fans believed that the young Nurmagomedov was the only one who could defeat Merab Dvalishvili.

Nurmagomedov wrote in the caption, “Hey @dc_mma, tell them give me title shot.” After Petr Yan’s defeat against Dvalishvili, the fans believed Nurmagomedov was indeed the next suitable contender to fight ‘The Machine’.

Although the world saw the defeat of a Nurmagomedov at UFC Vegas 71, the ‘Young Eagle’ could not stop himself from demanding a title shot.
