However, many viewers have also pointed out that Chimaev wasn’t as dominant as people were used to seeing him. Perhaps it was because of how good of a fighter Burns is. Regardless, Chimaev is sure that he can knock out Burns.

In a new interview on ‘Smesh Bros’, ‘Borz’ mentioned that he did not underestimate his opponent. Chimaev said, “I didn’t, I knew he is a great fighter. But I didn’t expect him to take my shots. He’s got a chin on him.”

“I’ll knock him out next time if we fight again,” he added. The fighter said this despite him previously admitting that looking for a knockout during their UFC 273 fight was a mistake.

UFC President Dana White seems interested in making Colby Covington versus Khamzat Chimaev happen. Both the fighters are high up in the ranks. Plus, Covington and Chimaev know how to keep their fans entertained. Hence, it would be an interesting match-up for both.

In addition to this, Chimaev also seems interested in another fight with Burns where he can dominate. While the Swedish fighter always wins via submissions or T/KOs, the UF 273 fight was the first bout that went to a decision. As a result, it looks like the fighter would like to fight Burns once again and win in a more effective fashion.
