According to a post shared on Instagram by Karolina Kowalkiewicz, she has been married to Lukasz Zaborowski for 3 years. The two share a long history as her husband was her coach at Shark Top Team since her UFC signing in 2015.

Zaborowski is currently a coach at MMA Polska and is also the founder of ‘Fundacja K2 Zaborowscy’ or the K2 Zaborowski Foundation. The organization has stated on its website that it aims to “help children conquer their own peak. Through sport we can get them out of depression or bad company.”

But that is not their sole focus as they also provide assistance to athletes unable to continue their chosen sport due to injuries and young children who, “did not choose their fate and start their lives without their parents.”

Both Kowalkiewicz and Zaborowski play integral roles in the foundation as the chairman and founder, respectively. Their combined efforts reflect a commitment to community and empowerment beyond the realm of MMA.

Kowalkiewicz postponed starting a family due to fighting career

And now, in 2024, it appears that Kowalkiewicz is still chasing the dream of securing UFC gold as a win over Lucindo at UFC 301 may allow her to throw her name in the mix for a shot at the strawweight title.
